You know, the entire, "If we legalize marijuana all hell would break loose". However, throughout the modern history of consumption we have not seen these 'horror stories' manifest.
With over half of the US admitting they have smoked marijuana in the past year and roughly 20,000,000 regular smokers...by now we should have seen the world gone to hell.
But...
It hasn't! There is a reason for this...
What the government has told you about marijuana over the past few decades were all fabrications based on pseudo science. Firstly, almost every government sponsored study was aimed at finding the 'negative effects' of cannabis.
In other words, you would only receive a Federal Grant if you were out to prove how dangerous cannabis is.
Through years of studies...the evidence of cannabis being 'dangerous' is lacking. On the contrary, many of these studies came out with beneficial effects of marijuana (which were obviously not reported by the Government)
Now with cannabis legalization running at full steam, more Pro pot studies are surfacing, higher scrutiny on these old studies are being implemented by the scientific community and the rest of society is no longer easily duped into believing that cannabis is the danger prohibition made it out to be.
In fact, even conservative states are now turning to marijuana.
We are truly living in exciting times, every day we inch closer to ending a policy that has incarcerated millions, spent trillions on doing absolutely nothing but make society more dangerous, less free and highly oppressive.
The tides are changing...can you smell that sweet aroma in the air...it's cannabis!
