Lapacho is an amazing extract from the inner bark of the Lapacho tree which grows in the warmer parts of South America, mainly the amazon jungles of Brazil and the mountainous regions of northern Argentina, Paraguay and Bolivia. It is also known as Pau d’Arco, Taheebo and Tecoma Curialis.
Lapacho is an oziniferous tree. It grows where there is an abundance of ozone. Ozone air
is fresh and pure and free from pollution, smog, exhaust, smoke and pesticides.
Lapacho tea provides health benefits to treat and prevent different diseases, and is considered being a natural antibiotic. The tea will also boost the immune system and reduce the chances of contracting a medical condition. Drinking lapacho tea regularly will diminish the chance of developing arthritis, diabetes, bowel problems, bladder infections and cancer. It will also increase blood and bone marrow health.
Lapacho tea has been used for many centuries by the Indio tribes of South America. The ancient Incas and Aztecs were probably the first to be familiar with the herbs healing powers.
This herbal tea is rich in essential vitamins and minerals that help maintain health and vitality. Lapacho tea contains iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iodine, boron and barium.
The exact mechanism of action of Lapacho is unknown, but the tea contains two active chemicals called lapachol and beta-lapochone. These chemicals are thought to have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Antimicrobial substances are those that kill or slow the growth of harmful microorganisms, including fungi, bacteria, viruses and parasites. Lapacho also contains a substantial amount of the antioxidant quercetin.
