This brings into the question the current scheduling of cannabis according to the Controlled Substance Act which claims it has "no medical value and a high potential for abuse".

Based on the recent admission of the Federal Government, the current status of #Cannabis should be changed immediately. Scientific evidence has shown that cannabis has plenty of medical benefit and in some cases is the only medicine that can actually "help" a patient.

To maintain the current scheduling is to slap Americans in the face, saying "your health is not important". It's saying that the individual liberties of Americans are not as important as the liberties of corporations that make money off prohibition.

Do not be mistaken...this is an aggression against the people. It's an insult to your own free will. It's a statement in its own saying that "You are not FREE!"

It's time we place more pressure on lawmakers, it's time that we campaign non-stop in order to secure the liberation of good medicine. It's time we repeal laws that were founded in lies and superstitions. It's time we look out for those who are afflicted with disease and discomfort.

It's time we let the government know that we won't tolerate their double standards...if we need so much research to legalize cannabis, why didn't we need any research to make it illegal...and why are we keeping the policy that has been proven to be unscientific and very destructive to society.

Hold your lawmakers accountable....it's your duty as a citizen.
