Is there a Religious Case for Legalizing #Marijuana?

Is there a Religious Case for Legalizing #Marijuana? To answer the question we can take a look at the Controlled Substance Act and specifically to #Mescaline and #DMT which are used by Native American tribes within Religious Ceremonies.

While both of these substances are Schedule I substances, they are legal for religious use by these tribes. An interesting side note, DMT is produced naturally within each and every one of us...we all are technically guilty of manufacturing and transporting this powerful psychedelic....

Back to #Cannabis. Within a religious context, cannabis was used for thousands of years to 'elevate spiritual perception' and was a key ingredient in the Holy Anointing Oils mentioned in the Bible. The same oil that anointed King David, the same oil that was used by Jesus.

Technically speaking, Cannabis forms a solid part of the Judeo-Christian tradition and as some churches in legal marijuana states are now using within their services. Rastafarians use it as a critical part of their religion.

Now, tying it all together.

If Native Americans can use psychedelics for Religious ceremonies without fearing jail, why can't those who use Marijuana for religious purposes obtain the same freedom?

For those who believe that 'God Made Everything' to prohibit marijuana would be to say that 'God made a mistake'. In other words, are those who staunchly opposing marijuana claiming that their Almighty God is fallible? Are they saying that God did not know what He was doing when he created Cannabis?

You can't claim to be a 'God Fearing' person and insult his creation by arresting people who are merely using the same plants God said we can use...

So I ask religious folk...are you serving God or G.O.D?
